To change the oil of the Yamaha XSR 155, start by placing the motorcycle on a flat surface and make sure the engine is cold. Locate the oil drain plug on the underside of the engine and unscrew it with a suitable wrench to allow the old oil to drain completely into a suitable container. While draining, check for any metallic residues in the oil. Clean the area around the drain plug before reinserting it. Next, locate the upper oil filler cap and remove it to allow air to enter and facilitate the complete drainage of the old oil. Once the oil has finished draining, securely screw in the lower drain plug. Now, slowly pour the new oil into the upper oil hole. Use a funnel to prevent spills and check the owner's manual for the recommended quantity and type of oil. Finally, close the upper oil cap and make sure to properly dispose of the used oil. By following these steps, you will keep your Yamaha XSR 155 in good working condition and extend the life of the engine.
