How do I replace the battery in the BMW 1 Series remote control?

Answer

To replace the battery of the BMW 1 Series remote control, the physical key must be completely removed using the release tab on the back of the remote control. With a small slotted screwdriver or the tip of the physical key, remove the back cover of the remote control. Remove the old battery and install a new CR2450 buffer battery. Close the remote control and check that the device is working correctly.
