In this short video tutorial, you will see how to replace the old battery in the remote of a BMW 1 Series from 2011 to 2019. To start, extract the remote key by pressing the button located on the top of the remote and pull it out. Now take the key and insert it into the designated slot of the remote as shown in the video, applying the right pressure until the back panel of the remote pops up on its own. Now you have free access to the compartment of the old battery, which you can remove and replace. Finally, just close the remote and you have completed the job.
