Today's instructions will guide you through the removal and replacement of the battery on a BMW 1 Series 118i in simple and quick steps. First, open the boot lid and start by removing the floor panel; underneath, you will find the battery, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew the screws of the central bracket to remove it, then disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative); remove the battery from its compartment and replace it with the new one of the correct type and same amperage. Then start the engine!
