In today's video, we will see the main instructions for removing and replacing the battery on the BMW 1 Series E87, first series, by following these simple steps. First, locate the battery in the boot by lifting the floor panel; then disconnect the battery terminals using a 10 mm socket spanner, as shown in the video. At this point, lever the side tabs to remove the upper control unit; all that remains is to extract and replace the battery with a new one of the same amperage, applying the reverse procedure of disassembly!
