How to Replace the Key Battery in a BMW 1 Series E87

In this video, you will see the procedure for replacing the key battery in a BMW 1 Series E87. There are 2 different procedures. As the first step, use a flat screwdriver or a file to lever on the slot at the top of the cover. Now you can proceed to replace the battery. Alternatively, you can buy a new cover and break the old key to recover the chip section to insert into the new one. However, to proceed, it will be necessary to follow a soldering procedure for some points on the chip.
