Answer

The Ford Focus Ecoboost engine is one of the most reliable. However, the first models had some problems, which were solved in the continuation of production. Among the most common were engine overheating, oil leaks attributable to faulty gaskets, as were faulty low pressure fuel pumps on some examples. In the 1.6-litre version there were cooling problems, which disappeared in the later 1.5-litre version. Same thing for the fuel injectors.
