Answer

The Opel Astra is a good car, with an attractive body and good quality paint. Inside, the hard plastics creak a bit, especially during cold months, and the large number of buttons on the dashboard does not make it intuitive to use. In models with adaptive headlights, the reflective material under the turn signal bulb can melt, and in some cases, water can be found in the spare wheel compartment due to a loss of waterproofing in the central stop. The automatic transmission tends to burn oil, so it needs to be topped up frequently. As for the ISUZU-produced 1.7 CDTI engine, it has never been the best.
