This guide will show you how to remove and replace the diesel filter on the Opel Astra 1.7 CDTI in simple and quick steps. First, open the bonnet and locate the diesel filter at the top; then disconnect the fuel lines by pressing the tabs, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew the top cap of the filter to remove the old cartridge, replacing it with the new one (using the original replacement); then reassemble the filter cover, reconnecting all the various connections!
