First, open the bonnet of your car and disconnect the thermostat hose by unscrewing the metal clip; allow the fluid to drain into a container for about ten minutes. Next, unscrew the thermostat mounting bolts to remove it; now replace it with the new one, ensuring it is the original part, and finally top up with the new coolant suitable for your engine (filling to the maximum level mark)!
