In today's tutorial video, you will see how to remove and replace the thermostat on the Opel Astra 1.9 CDTI, as well as on Fiat group models with the 1.9 JTD engine. First, open the bonnet and start by removing the battery by disconnecting the terminals and unscrewing the bracket screw. Next, remove the battery holder and disconnect the hose next to it. Now, disconnect the electrical connector and the thermostat pipes, allowing the coolant to drain. Finally, replace it with the new one, following the video tutorial to the end!
