The following description explains how to start the engine automatically with the remote from outside the vehicle. The remote has a button to open and close the doors, as well as the engine start button. First, lock the doors by pressing the button on the remote with the closed padlock symbol. Then, press and hold the Engine hold button for about 3 seconds until the green LED on the remote starts flashing and the engine starts. To turn off the engine, simply press the same button again and wait about 3 seconds.
