How to Replace the Key Battery in an Acura RDX

To replace the button battery inside the smart key of your first-generation Acura RDX (2006-2012), follow these quick and simple steps. First, take the key and locate the small screw on the bottom of the cover. Unscrew it with a suitable screwdriver and then remove the cover. Next, find the battery holder and open it with a flathead screwdriver. Finally, remove the old exhausted battery and replace it with a new CR1616 model. Reattach the cover correctly and you're done.
