How to clean the intake manifold sensor in an Alfa Giulietta 1.6 diesel.

So, to clean the intake manifold sensor on your car, you need a bit of patience but nothing too complicated. Disconnect the battery for safety; the MAP sensor is usually located on the intake manifold and is usually fixed with a Torx screw. Unscrew it calmly and detach it gently without forcing it. It will likely be encrusted with dirt and oil. Take a sensor spray, like an electrical contact cleaner or one specifically for MAP sensors, spray it well and let it dry. Avoid touching the sensor with your fingers or aggressive tools. Once clean and dry, reassemble everything and reconnect the battery. Start the car, drive a few kilometers, and you should already feel the difference. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, consult a specialized workshop.
