Learn how to remove and replace the gas struts that support and open the tailgate of an Alfa Romeo Mito. To begin: lift the tailgate and secure it (use a metal or wooden bar); with a flat screwdriver, detach the metal hooks that hold the worn strut at both ends. Fit the new part onto the vehicle, securing the strut with the metal clips. Proceed in the same way for the removal/installation of the opposite strut. Finally, test the gas struts previously installed by opening and closing the tailgate.
