How to Replace the Timing Belt on the Alfa Romeo 159?

To replace the timing belt on the Alfa Romeo 159, open the bonnet and loosen the bolts securing the cover on the side of the engine. Once removed, lift the car using a ramp and remove the inner cover of the right wheel arch. This will allow access to the tensioner pulley, which needs to be loosened to reduce the tension on the belt; at this point, the belt can be removed and replaced with a new spare part. The new belt should be tensioned by tightening the tensioner pin and covering everything with the appropriate panels.
