To replace the handbrake cable on the Alfa Romeo 147, lift the handbrake lever so that you can detach the gaiter that surrounds it. Under this gaiter, you will find a bolt that needs to be loosened; once this is done, access the underside of the car after it has been lifted. Along its length, you will find the handbrake cable that must be removed after detaching the securing clips. After removal, you can insert the new spare part.
