How to Change the Oil on an Alfa Romeo MiTo

Let's see how to change the oil on the Alfa Romeo MiTo. First, safely lift the vehicle. Do not rely too much on your jack; it is better to have a good hydraulic jack, or even two. You will easily find the oil sump plug. Simply unscrew it and let the used oil drain into a proper container, which you will dispose of at an authorised centre. Now remove the filter, which will also lose some oil that you will add to that from the sump. Next, change the filter (the kit of 5 litres of synthetic oil SAE 5W30, the filter, and the washer for the plug - usually, the kit also includes the pollen and air filters - costs about £75.00). Refit the plug after changing the washer and top up the oil. Job done.
