When the navigation system on the Audi A3 freezes irreparably, a reset of the system is necessary. To proceed with the reset, press and hold the power button on the computer.

The system will turn off and then turn back on, continuing with a semi-automatic recovery process. You will need to give commands by pressing the OK buttons to select the factory data reset option.

Wait for the process to complete to finish the reset. Then, set the previous values.

This procedure is the same for Audi Q3 models produced from 2018 onwards.
