In this video we can see how to remove the glove box of the Audi A4 B8: we start by levering on the outer side of the dashboard, and then removing the part that covers its thickness. We will then remove the three fixing bolts, one inside at the top, and two at the bottom on the outside. Opening the door, we find another three at the top and then inside; once the drawer is removed, we see to repair the lock, and we see, removing the stops, that a piece is broken. We can solve the problem by gluing the piece with two-component plastic glue, and when it is dry, secure it with a metal bracket screwed into the plastic. Pour more of the same type of glue on and around the bracket and then sand off the excess glue. Check the functionality of the moving parts, lubricating everything with WD-40, and we can put the drawer back in place, following the reverse procedure.
