How to change the front and rear Audi emblems on the Audi A3

Let's see how to replace the chrome emblem found on the front and back of an Audi A3 with the same emblem, but in black. We can find the kit of the two logos, for example on Etsy, in glossy version with code 1003625970 at a price of 37.25 euros, with free delivery, but we can also easily find matte or carbon fiber versions at slightly higher prices. Removing the chrome cover is easy: just gently pull it, using a thin cardboard from underneath; and then reattach the black ones by pressing gently, as they are plastic clips. The back, on the other hand, should be heated well with a hairdryer, to allow the adhesive to detach from the bodywork; then we help ourselves with our cardboard or dental floss; Take two measurements to reattach the new emblem, and then to remove the remaining adhesive on the bodywork, we recommend a good spray of WD-40, clean well and then attach the new emblem.
