How to Replace the Timing Belt on an Audi A4

Model: Audi A4 B7 - Years 2004-2008
Part: Timing belt

Let's see how to replace the timing belt on an Audi A4. Open the hood and secure it with the prop rod. Remove the front bumper (if you have space issues to work), disconnect the wiring harnesses with pliers, and remove the plastic soundproofing panel with a screwdriver. Lift the car with a column lift to access the underside (if necessary). Use a wrench to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off. Use a socket wrench to remove the tensioner pulley bolt and take out the water pump. Install the new water pump, the tensioner, and the belt, tightening everything with the socket wrench. Finally, reinstall the radiator with the mounting bolts.
