A problem concerning the heating system of the Audi A3 Sportback from 2013 onwards, especially regarding diesel engines, is that the heating radiator gets clogged in such a way that no hot air comes out of the vents. The fault is such that it is necessary to change the radiator, which can be accessed from the driver's footwell. It is also necessary to completely drain the system and perform a flush to remove any residues that may have accumulated inside, using a special liquid available from Audi dealers. This operation is necessary before refilling the system with new liquid, as otherwise residues could remain in circulation and contaminate the radiator again.
