How to repair the rear taillight connector of an Audi A1

The damages of the rear light connector are a common issue on the Audi A1, but we can repair it quite easily. First, we need to check if the connector pins are oxidized, broken, or bent, and if there are any disconnected or damaged cables. Clean the contacts: if there is oxidation, we can use an eraser to clean it, and apply silicone grease to prevent future moisture damage. If the connector is severely damaged, it may be necessary to replace it with a compatible one, and check the functionality of the cables: if they are broken, strip them slightly and solder them back to the connector. Use insulation tape or heat shrink tubing to protect the connection.
