To replace the battery inside the key of your first-generation Audi A1 by yourself, you need to follow a procedure that is practically identical to that used in many other Audi car models produced around the same time. Once you have the car key, proceed to remove the protective rear cover, then use a small flat screwdriver to remove the depleted battery. Finally, insert a new battery (model CR 2032) and reattach the protective rear cover to complete the procedure correctly.
