Do you want to replace the battery in your key? Let's see how to replace the key battery in an Audi A1. Take your remote and use a small screwdriver to pry between the two covers of the key. Pry until the plastic part at the back of the key separates, then extract the exhausted battery with a screwdriver and take a new one of the same size and voltage.

Remove the small battery from the cover and replace it with a new one, pressing on the key case until you hear it click into place.

After securing the plastic parts of the key, all that's left is to test its functionality.
