To replace the battery of the Audi A1 key, we need to insert a plastic removal tool into the side part in order to open the remote control cover and proceed with the battery replacement. After replacing the battery, we close the key cover and proceed to test the remote control's functionality by opening and closing the car using the buttons on the key. If it does not work, it is possible to program the key. The battery to use for these models is a 3-volt CR2032. The steps are the same for all current year Audi models.
