How to reset the oil light on the Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 8P, MK 2 - Years 2003-2013
Part: Service warning light

The service light reset should only be performed after carrying out the operations related to the car service. The car service on an Audi A3 vehicle consists of replacing fluids, changing the engine oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin air filter, checking the timing belt, and checking the engine. To perform the light reset and update the mileage for the next service, we need to turn on the instrument panel and repeatedly press the button located on the right side of the instrument panel to display the various items related to the settings menu on the screen. We hold down the button on the "maintenance intervals" option and execute the light reset. We restart the instrument panel to complete the operation.
