How to Reset the Service Reminder on an Audi A3 8P

Model: Audi A3 MK 2, 8P - Years 2003-2013

On the Audi A3 8P, resetting the service reminder is done directly from the instrument cluster using the control on the right side of the cluster (at the bottom, near the speedometer). Secure the car, with the ignition off, then turn on the ignition. Access the service/inspection screen on the central display of the cluster. When the screen is visible, press and hold the control on the cluster until the message changes and the confirmation of the operation appears. At that point, release it. To verify the outcome, scroll through the information: instead of the service warning, the data for the next intervention, such as the oil change interval, will appear. Turn off and turn on the ignition for a final check.
