How to open the fuel flap on an Audi A3? Open the fuel flap located on the left side of the car's body by pressing on it with your finger. Once you locate the fuel cap, unscrew it and remove it from the tank opening (attach the cap to the flap). After refuelling, screw the cap back onto the tank opening. Close the fuel flap (press the flap until you hear a click). Unlock the doors to open the flap.
