How do you open the flap on the A3? Remove the trim plastics in the boot to access the back of the flap. Open the boot lid and take off the trim plastics where the fuel flap is located. Reach the fuel flap actuator: grasp the plastic lever of the actuator and pull it to unlock the latch (if present on the model). Remove the fuel flap lock along with the screws. After removing the damaged lock, replace it with a new one of the same type.
