Removing Headlights on A4

Model: Audi A4 B8 - Years 2007-2016

Removing the front headlights on an Audi A4. Open and lift the hood. Remove the upper screws located above the front headlight. Once all the headlight mounting screws are removed, disconnect the headlight (replace any damaged bulbs). Install new bulbs (if damaged) into the new headlight socket. Install the new front headlight into the bumper. Replace all damaged bulbs. Finally, test the operation of the lights on the new front headlight of the Audi. Replace both headlights if damaged.

As shown, the filter is positioned at the lower part of the engine, right between the left half-shaft and the sway bar attachment. To replace the filter, first, go underneath the vehicle, taking all necessary safety precautions. Then, using an 18mm wrench, open the drain valve and allow any water present to escape. Next, unscrew the housing, remove the old filter, insert the replacement along with a new gasket, and reassemble everything.
