How to Remove the Folding Rear-View Mirror

Is your mirror broken? Is it no longer folding? Let's see how to disassemble it and replace the mirror part. The first step is to orient the glass part towards the vehicle, then insert your fingers from the outer side between the cover and the piece you want to remove, carefully push towards the opposite side, and the mirror part will come out of its clips.

Behind it, there are 2 small connectors that supply electricity to the internal heating element for defrosting the mirror if needed; to remove them, simply pull them off. At this point, reconnect the connectors to the new mirror and carefully clip it back into place.

How to Reset the Tire Pressure Light on a MG ZS?
