Removal of electromechanical steering box on Audi A3 8P 1.9 TDI

Model: Audi A3 8P, MK 2 - Years 2003-2013

In this video tutorial we will see how to disassemble and replace the electromechanical steering box on an Audi A3 8P 1.9 TDI. First we remove the battery of our car, disconnecting the two poles, and then we go to disassemble the steering column; to do this, remove the plastic screws under the pedals and detach the steering column. At this point we lift the car and pull away the steering heads; we remove the lower motor protection. We just have to remove the fixing bolts of the electromechanical box and disconnect the electrical connector, following the video to the end!
