How to replace the key battery of an Audi A6?

First of all, we will have to disengage the physical key from the electronic key of our Audi A6, simply by pressing the release button located in the upper section. So let's start by going to disengage and extract the battery section of the key. By doing so we will have reached the discharged battery, which we can go to disengage and remove. When we have completed this last step we will have successfully completed the disassembly. To fit the new battery and close the key, we will only have to follow these instructions in reverse, and we will have finished the replacement.
