Replacing the Car Battery on an Audi A3

Replacing the car battery is a fairly simple process. This video shows the maintenance being performed on an Audi A3. To replace the car battery, after lifting the bonnet, disconnect the connector and unscrew the two terminals, positive and negative, remembering to always start with the latter, the negative terminal. Only then unscrew and disconnect the positive terminal. After this, each model has its own method of securing the battery (sometimes it’s a rubber strap), but in most cases, there are bolts to unscrew that anchor it to the vehicle. Remove the battery from its housing and proceed in reverse for reassembly.
