Audi A3 - Video tutorial
Model: Audi A3
MK 2, 8P
- Years 2003-2013 In order to replace the ignition switch on the Audi A3 it is necessary to remove the steering wheel and all the cover with the controls of the light switch unit. Once this operation is complete, we will remove the plastic covers around the ignition lock. By doing so we will be able to notice the hole on the side where a piece of rigid wire must be inserted, thus allowing us to press on the fixing tab of the block and then extract it. At this point we will have to insert the new ignition lock by orienting the fixing tab towards its seat. Once inserted, the tab clicks and the block is secured. Then extract the complete shell of the block to access the ignition switch electrical block and replace it, and we will have finished replacing it. To then reassemble everything, it will be necessary to simply follow the steps in reverse, and we will be finished.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto? To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood. by ScegliAuto More videos
