Guide to Dismantling the Ignition Barrel of the Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 MK 2, 8P - Years 2003-2013

Today, this guide shows the steps on how to dismantle and replace the ignition barrel of the Audi A3. First, get inside the vehicle and start by removing the airbag and steering wheel, disconnecting the electrical connector and unscrewing the central screw; then remove the plastic covers of the steering column, as shown in the video. At this point, disconnect the various electrical connectors found on the ignition barrel; unscrew the Torx screws of the indicator stalk to remove it as well. Finally, remove the ignition barrel and replace it with the new one!
