How to remove the car radio screen of an Audi A6

Model: Audi A6 MK 4, C7 - Years 2011-2018
Part: Car stereo

Before we can start, we will have to sit in the driver's seat of our Audi A6. So let's start by disengaging and removing the frame placed around the car radio screen, levering it with a thin but resistant tool. After that, we will have to go to disengage and extract the central air vents below, and then disconnect the relative electrical connector. Once this is done, we will have to unscrew and remove the screws that secure the screen to the dashboard. At this point, we will have to go to extract the screen, then disconnect the electrical connector, and the disassembly will be completed.

How to Remove the Gear Knob on an Opel Astra

How to replace the gear knob on an Opel Astra? Follow these steps: use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame (if you need to replace it). Grip the knob with both hands and pull it upwards (with a strong and decisive motion) until it comes off the gear stick. For installation: fit the new gaiter and position it on the centre tunnel, take the new knob and push it onto the stick, tightening it until fully threaded. Test the movement of the stick on the centre tunnel to ensure the knob is correctly fitted.
