Operation: How does the SOS light on the Audi A3 go out?

In order to turn off the SOS warning light on the Audi A3, you need to lower the flap located in the upper part of the car, on the roof in correspondence with the central rear-view mirror. When the flap is lowered, a red button will be visible, which must be held down for a few seconds, until the emergency call starts. Once the emergency call has started, it must be canceled manually by pressing the button on the touch screen. When the call has been canceled, you will be returned to the Driver Assist screen and the SOS light will have been correctly turned off.
