How to Remove the Rear Wiper Arm and Motor from an Audi A3 8P

This guide shows how to remove the arm and motor of the rear wiper from an Audi A3 8P. The first step is to detach the plastic plug at the base of the wiper to expose the fastening bolt. Using a 13 mm spanner while holding the wiper, you can remove the assembly. With the aid of a puller or by simply pulling, you can remove the wiper blade from its seat. Next, unscrew the two Torx screws from the inner panel of the boot lid and carefully detach the fastening clips. Using a 10 mm spanner, unscrew the fastening bolts of the wiper motor to the frame. At this point, disconnect the electrical cable and the water cable. Reassembly is straightforward; simply perform the actions in reverse order. You can also completely remove the wiper using a special kit available for purchase.
