Connecting some devices to your car radio depends on how old and equipped it is. You can connect these devices to the car radio via the AUX input, as long as they have a minijack output. Once you have the cable, you can proceed to remove the car radio.

Pull the panel and take it out. There should be a wiring diagram on it. Run the cable to connect your devices (iPhone, iPod, etc.). You can route it out from the glove compartment or under the car radio so that the device remains in front of the gear shift and is convenient to use.
