In this tutorial, we will see how to replace the mirror caps on the external rear-view mirrors of the Audi A3. First, using a plastic spatula to avoid damaging the car, remove the mirror by prying along the entire perimeter. Next, disassemble the adjustment motor by unscrewing the central screw with a Torx key, disconnect the connector located at the back, and unscrew the remaining screws, also Torx type. At this point, you can remove the cap by unfastening the clips on the sides and proceed with fitting the replacement, simply following the reverse procedure.
