To remove the rear number plate holder of the Audi A3, open the tailgate to access the bolts securing the internal panel of the tailgate. Once this panel is detached, you can unscrew the screws that secure the number plate holder from the inside, on which the vehicle's number plate is installed.

Once these screws are loosened and any connectors are disconnected, the number plate holder can be removed from its housing and replaced with a new spare part, reassembling all the other removed parts.
