To remove the instrument cluster from an Audi A3, disconnect the plastic cover located at the lower central part of the instrument cluster. Once this cover is removed, loosen the two screws underneath to free the cluster. You can then extract it from its housing by disconnecting the connectors at the back. The old instrument cluster can now be replaced with a new one, which should be connected to the connectors, secured with its screws, and locked in place by the plastic cover.
