How to Remove the Ashtray from the Audi A4?

To remove the ashtray from the Audi A4, first disconnect the plastic covers located at the bottom and top of the piece to be removed. Use a tool to pry these covers off so that the retaining clips release. Under these covers, you will find the screws that secure the ashtray, which need to be loosened; this will allow the ashtray to be pulled out from its housing while also disconnecting the bulb connector at the back. Finally, replace the piece by reattaching all the plastic covers.
