The timing belt of my Audi A3 with 1.6 tdi engine, when should I change it? And how can I do it on my own?

Model: Audi A3 MK 2, 8P - Years 2003-2013
Part: Timing belt

For your Audi A3 with 1.6 TDI engine, it is recommended that the timing belt be replaced after 150,000 km of driving or after 6 years of use. It is recommended not to exceed these parameters in order to avoid serious engine problems. To carry out the operation, we start by removing the engine cover and making space on the engine side where the belt is located in order to have room for maneuver and remove the cover. Now align the marks for setting the pulleys and mark the position of the lower one. Remove the belt tensioner retainer and remove the belt and then the belt tensioner itself. During reassembly, be careful to place it in the correct position.

How do you remove the factory radio on a Mercedes A-Class? Let's carefully go through the disassembly process. Use the original or aftermarket metal keys to remove the car stereo: Insert the keys into the holes on the plastic trim of the stereo, pull the stereo towards you as shown in the video, and carefully extract the radio while being mindful of the various wiring (disconnect the power connectors and the antenna cable). Finally, reinstall the original radio or a generic brand with the appropriate adapter for the input and connector.
