The gasket is an element that is interposed between the cylinders and the head and serves to ensure that the oil and the coolant do not come into contact with each other or disperse. Usually the main cause of its damage is overheating. It is possible to carry out a do-it-yourself replacement which also allows considerable savings in economic terms. First of all, the engine must be emptied of oil and coolant, remove the alternator belt and unscrew the spark plugs and relative cables. Once everything has been released, the cylinder head valve cover can be removed. Particular attention must be paid when tightening the head to the cylinder base. To do this correctly you need a torque wrench to tighten the screws with the right torque value.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
