To replace the battery in the engine bay of your Audi A3 (second generation) yourself, carefully read the instructions in this mini guide. First, completely switch off the car and park it safely.

Then, lift the bonnet and proceed to disconnect both terminals. Unscrew the security screws and remove the battery entirely.

At this point, simply insert the new battery correctly, reconnect the two terminals, and reattach the security screws.
