Let's see where to locate the legal Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on an Audi A4 B8. The legal VIN is not the one found on the metal tag on the driver's side windshield. That is merely a courtesy tag used to move the vehicle until it is registered. The actual number must be stamped on the frame, allowing for unequivocal identification of the vehicle. This number consists of 17 alphanumeric digits that identify the manufacturer and certain parameters set by the company: the last digits are specific to the vehicle. For the A4, it is located under the front hood, in the body bulge on the left side when facing the vehicle, right in front of the passenger.

How to Replace the External Wing Mirror on a Ford C MAX
